From Sloped Space to High Usability
With the goal of creating more usable space in this sloped backyard, our team divided the space with a raised planter bed for both function and visual interest. The bed functions as a retaining wall, with steel edging on one side and a beautiful board-form concrete wall on the other. Concrete steps lead you from the paver pathway down to the artificial turf play area. The turf area is made usable by additional steel retaining for leveling, and with river rock along the fence lines for proper drainage on the property. Native and adapted plantings ensure the space will stay beautiful for years to come!
